- For Project Scientist (Seed): Masters Degree in Agriculture, rural development or allied subject.

- For Project Scientist (IPM) : M.Sc (Agriculture)
- For Project Scientist (Rice Knowledge Bank) : M.Sc (Communications/ Journalism)
